Kidnapped!

Kaylee goes into YOUNG WOMENS tomorrow!!! AHHH!!! Where does the time go????

Kaylee was kidnapped by the other Beehives this morning.

They all snuck in her bedroom early this morning while she was still sleeping and yelled 'Surprise!", then blind-folded her and took her away.
They left and ate breakfast at their leaders house...so fun! She's gonna love YW!

can't believe Kaylee is ready for Young Womens! Such an exciting time!

My dinner...times 27!

So, this is what I eat for dinner.....

Fresh Steamed Green Beans w/ Sea Salt and a fresh grilled Lemon/pepper Chicken.

I am still very limited on what I can eat, but this is pretty much all I eat for dinner...sometimes I'll add some fruit.

I think I have mastered the art of grilling chicken...chicken is the only meat I am allowed to consume at this point.

I am on day 27 today of this new diet...Still feeling fantastic, but anxious to eat new foods!

So far the foods that have been added back in are: Eggs and Fresh Tomatoes. It's a start! :)

Applebee's with Aunt Margie!

My Aunt Margie called and said she wanted to meet us for dinner to celebrate my girls' birthdays.

Kimee's was on August 7th and Kaylee's will be on September 4th...

So, we met in the middle of their birthdays and went to dinner!

From the moment they got home, they stayed up til 11pm putting this thing together :))

Shoot - Out!

So, there were two teams in the Adidas Cup who tied for Semi-finals

Our team and Utah FC....we were tied in every way possible, so we decided a shoot out instead of a coin toss.
With a coin toss, you leave it up to the refs. We decided a shoot out because it left it up to the girls....

All Kaylee had to do was block at least one of them...which she did...However, her team only made one in, so the other team advanced...

can't win them all....but it was fun to watch them get ready, so many different emotions with these girls.

Raspberry Jam!!

This is what happens when you find a good deal on raspberries.....

I bought 7 cases...I jammed 6 cases. The 7th case I saved to freeze some and eat some :))

72 jars in 6 hours. I was exhausted!

But, I think I'm loaded up on enough raspberry jam :)))) WOOHOO!

and guess what?? Every single one sealed and set up. What a huge success!
Now, if my Doctor would just clear me to be able to eat sugar, I could enjoy some of this!
In the meantime, who wants some jam??? LOL

School has started and we are ready to go!

I just love the people I work with :)  Our school is over capacity this year. 

We are built for 900 students. Our current enrollment is 930 students!

Well, it did bring them good luck because they WON! I don't know about the tough part, they are too cute to look tough :)

Adidas Cup Soccer Tournament - 2013

 

 Kaylee is playing up a year on the U13 HC Storm team

Yesterday was game 1. They tied 2 -2

Even after their tie, they are still listed as 1st place team... Go HC Storm!

Hashimoto's update - Weight loss complete...CHECK!

I have just started day 10 of my 21 day detox.

All I can say is WOOOHOOO!! I am feeling fantastic, my energy is coming back and not too mention I have lost the 8 lbs I wanted to.

My weight to date is now 110 lbs!! Woot! I am back to me!! ...and all in just 10 days. At this point, I am a bit nervous what the next 10 days will bring. I don't want to loose anymore weight, I like where I am now...

I had a follow up appointment with Dr.Stadler. He said he was 'proud of me' for keeping to my strict diet and not cheating :)

Yes, its hard to only eat fresh fruits and veggies, salad (with no dressing) and downing 90 oz of water a day.....

I thought I would crave all sorts of foods by now, but I'm not. So whatever herbal mix he has me taking is working to curve my cravings.

10 more days of detox and we'll see what foods I am allowed to continue and what foods I will never be able to have again..

This Hashimoto's is something else. But at the end of the day, I keep a smile on my face and am thankful for Dr's like Dr.Stadler who can help people like me :) Thank you Red River Health for giving me my life back!

I help out people all the time, because it makes me feel good.
