Our cute little Eliza...

I must say, we have THE CUTEST little girl living across the street from us...
They have only lived here about a year, but their daughter Eliza is to die for!!

Eliza is quite fond of Kaylee...she will reach for Kaylee to hold her every time she has a chance....this is a cute little bond to watch :)

I only get to hold her if I bribe her with candy!! Hey, whatever it takes, right?? lol

Eliza is so cute!!! Give her a ball, sucker and Kaylee and she's good to go! How lucky are we!
I am sure her mom appreciates a little break from time to time as well :)
Girls are the best!! Just Sayin'

Berry Chicken Salad

What's for dinner??

"Berry Chicken Salad"

MMMMMMMmmmm!! Is all I have to say!
Garden Salad, Chicken, Strawberries, Almonds and Fat Free Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing...
Topped it off with a Strawberry Lemonade....so good!

Kimee says: "Mom, it looks like your pouring blood on your salad"..  lol

Oremfest!!

I am a little late posting this, but better late than never!
A few weeks ago I enjoyed going back to my hometown of Orem...for their Orem Days...

Kimee wanted to get her face painted...her first time ever!

She chose a Butterfly...the artist matched it to her clothes....amazing!! And it only took her less than 5 minutes...if that!
Isn't she just beautiful???!!!

Gotta love quick - set up city carnivals...Kimee loved this fun slide

I ran into a bunch of "oremites' along the way....my good friend Danny England posted this to his facebook account....I don't wish to re-live my high school days, but there are a handful of people I miss dearly...Danny was one of those people...

We had an awesome spot to watch fireworks, but by the time we left the carnival...our grass spot was taken, so I just opened up the sun roof and it worked great. The girls were just giggling because it was something different...they had a blast :)

Can't wait for more fireworks on the 4th of July.
We'll be out of town, so we'll see what another state has to offer with the fireworks show, we hear its supposed to me amazing...
 guess we'll wait and see!

Summer fun with the boyzzz...

Bryson and Brenden came over to play for the day...and it was HOT!!
I put up the pool and filled a whole bunch of water balloons with water, then bought some water guns..
This was 6 hours of fun!!

Bryson (fallen down) is about a year younger than Kaylee and Brenden is a year younger than Kimee...

Helpful Hint: Use regular party balloons filled with water....they take a LOT longer to pop on the trampoline....

Our neighbor Jagger came over to play too!!

Poor Bryson, they all picked on him..lol  I am pretty sure he asked for it though...ha!

After they got tired of swimming, we came in for dinner. While I made dinner, they made a fort! I was pretty impressed..
I ended up allowing them to eat dinner in their fort....ahhh!! The joys of summer! I'm lovin it!

Pretty awesome fort kids!!

Suprise note from Kaylee...

I woke up with a note sitting on my nightstand...it reads:

"Dear Mom, You are the bestest mom ever!
I couldn't have asked for a better mom than you!
I love you so much!
You are one of the weirdest moms I know! :)
I still love youno matter what!
I love you so much!
Have a great day today! Love, Kaylee

Thanks bugaboo!! I love you too!

I'm a Match!!!

I received this email this past week....

I didn't call right away, so they called ME!
I answered about 15 minutes worth of questions and they wanted me to go in and get further blood tests to see if I was a good enough candidate...
I passed all their preliminary questions'/qualifications...

Well, I received the phone call today that I am indeed a great match for this person....they went over the procedure in detail and will send me a bunch of stuff to look over and sign.....then it's up to the patient if they will use me or not....crazy stuff!!

I guess if they pick me, I will have an amazing story to share....
.
Pick me, Pick me, Pick me!!!! LOL

I am going to take this to heart.....changes are about to happen and I'm excited!!!!!

Great video with a Great message.....

A good friend of mine posted this video on his facebook page.....
I took the time to view it, and boy am I SO THANKFUL I did...
I felt uplifted, inspired....kinda like all my thoughts of life were answered in this video...

Here are the lyrics to the song:

You can be amazing
You can turn a phrase into a weapon or a drug
You can be the outcast
Or be the backlash of somebody’s lack of love
Or you can start speaking up
Nothing’s gonna hurt you the way that words do
And they settle ‘neath your skin
Kept on the inside and no sunlight
Sometimes a shadow wins
But I wonder what would happen if you

Say what you wanna say
And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave

With what you want to say
And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave

I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I wanna see you be brave

I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I wanna see you be brave

Everybody’s been there, everybody’s been stared down
By the enemy
Fallen for the fear and done some disappearing
Bow down to the mighty
Don’t run, stop holding your tongue
Maybe there’s a way out of the cage where you live
Maybe one of these days you can let the light in
Show me how big your brave is

Say what you wanna say
And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave

With what you want to say
And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave

Innocence, your history of silence
Won’t do you any good
Did you think it would?
Let your words be anything but empty
Why don’t you tell them the truth?

Say what you wanna say
And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave

With what you want to say
And let the words fall out
Honestly I wanna see you be brave

I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I wanna see you be brave

I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I wanna see you be brave

I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I wanna see you be brave

I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you
I just wanna see you

I really needed to hear this song and the lyrics attached to it. There are so many things I have been struggling with lately, and all I need to do is 'BE Brave and let the words fall out"  So, this next week...that is exactly what I intend to do. I am tired of being that person who says yes to everything, that person who will put my own needs aside to help someone else, the person who tells another person what they need to hear.  I have been through alot this past year and I was never 'Brave' enough to stand up for myself. I might loose some friendships along the way, but it's about time I take charge of my life and 'say what I want to say and let the words fall out'....Thank you Sara Barellies...you nailed this song!!

Oh. My!!

Remember my previous post about Kaylee giving cookies to a neighbor boy???
Well, that boy just reciprocated!!!
I found these on our front porch!

I am not sure how I feel about this!!!  lol

All I know is that Kaylee is grinning from ear to ear!

BYU Soccer Camp - Keeper Style

Kaylee just finished her BYU Soccer Camp.
I signed her up for the Week 1 - Goal Keeper Camp with Erica Owens
Kaylee improved on her current skills and picked up a few new ones...
I can't wait to see her in the next game :)

Kaylee was fortunate enough to get some one on one with BYUs Assistant Coach Aleisha Rose

More one on one...how fun!

Kaylee got super excited when she saw Kat arrive to the camp - She is also a Keeper for BYU
She was Kaylee's trainer last year for the BYU Camp..she is such a fun girl!

Paige, Kaylee, Kat and Gracie

Kaylee during a scrimmage game on the last day of camp..

Kaylee had really great goal kicks....these BYU fields are much larger than she is used to playing on!

Kaylee blocked Gracie's PK Kick! Way to go kiddo!

Yea!! We LOVE our Erica Owens!

As we were leaving camp, Kaylee told me to stop the car because she saw Erica Owens getting ready to leave. Erica has a fun opportunity to go to Peru for a month, so our trainings will be on hold until then.
I thought this was a cute pic :)) Have fun Erica!

Kaylee met BYUs Head Coach Jennifer Rockwood

What a fun opportunity for Kaylee!
See you next year BYU. Thanks for putting on such a great camp!

BYU Soccer Camp goes to 7 Peaks...and so do I...

Kaylee is on Day 3 of her BYU Soccer camp.
From 4pm - 8pm..they were scheduled to have a fun time at 7 Peaks Water Park.
Kaylee gave me a call and asked if I could pick her and Gracie up and drive them to 7 peaks.
I guess they didn't want to load the bus with all the other 450 kids from the soccer camp.

So I decided to call Codi and see if she wanted to meet me there and we could make a day out of it.
She brought her son Cinch and I brought Kimee....

Kaylee and Gracie

Cinch and Kimee - I LOVE this kiddos face!! He cracks me up!

What's this I see?????  Two kids having FUN is what I see :))))

I just love the look on Cinch's face...lol

They don't allow goggles down the slide so Kaylee had to cover her face.
Kaylee has contacts and is sensitive to the chlorine.

Kimee coming out of the tube slide

Good job Kimee!
We love our soccer girls!!!

Codi and Gracie

Looks quite comfy...

I love my BFF Codi...she's is the good friend everyone always talks about.
Can't wait for this weekend and we can sleep in and relax and not worry
about our kids being away for so long!

The little things make me happy....

If you know me well, you know I LOVE yard work!
Today was no exception....I love, love, love it :)

Yup, straight lines and everything...feels great to have everything clean cut and looking good :)

My garden is thriving as well. So far, I haven't killed anything! lol

My tomatoes and Green Peppers are starting to look good too!

Meet the new addition to my garden...an apple tree! I debated forever where to place this thing, I bought a semi dwarf, so it will add the needed shade for my garden (eventually), but the soil is so good in the garden, I could stand to see it struggle somewhere else. Here's hoping to it being fruitful next year!

 Ahhh...my Strawberries!!
I have already picked 2 batches and made some yummy cakes with them.
I am sure we will put them to good use!

My peach tree now has peaches!! So excited!

It's great to see all the hard work pay off.
Although, yard work is very therapeutic to me, so it doesn't really feel like 'work'.

My flowers seem to be doing great too..

I can't count the number of people who comment on my rose bush.
I have loved the color and what it adds to the look of my home.

I love that summer is HERE!
